REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Wilma Lea Milton Blackwell, age 91, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at her residence.

Public viewing will begin on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. from the Elm Grove Baptist Church, 1302 US-29 Business, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 12:30 p.m. Pastor C. Bradley Hunt, II will preside and Pastor Paul N. Milton, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in Elm Grove Church Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 111 Cornelius Road, Reidsville, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Wharton Blackwell; twin daughters, Sharon and Maron Blackwell; sisters, Virginia Harrison and Deliah Milton.

Survivors include children, Tonie Bryant (Alex), Sandra B. Brim, Charles Blackwell, Kelvin Blackwell (Latricia), Eric Blackwell (Alfreda) and Dr. Dorsel (Ray) Blackwell; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
