Willard B. Holcomb died on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Durham Rehab Operations LLC in Durham, North Carolina.

May he Rest in Peace.

Willard (aka Wilbert) Holcomb was the original free-spirited Renaissance man. He knew and had the key to an enjoyable lifestyle that he shared freely with his friends through his amateur botany efforts. His multiple interests included fishing, camping, hunting, drawing and painting, anything electronic or mechanical. He was a suburb cook able to create an extraordinary meal with only a few ingredients along with herbs and spices. Willard amassed one of the best comic book collections ever, including a number of original first issues.

Willard was preceded in death by his mother Ardelia better known as Aunt Sis and cousin, Dennis Lamont Holcomb.

His cousin David B. Miller will carry on his lessons and traditions of living an enjoyable life. A person with a heart as big as the great outdoors, Willard (aka Wilbert) will be missed but never forgotten.
