Mr. Walter E. Wilson Sr. passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Long Leaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center, Wilson, NC.

Born on September 20, 1933 in Rockingham County, h e was educated in the public schools of Rockingham County and was employed at American Tobacco Company until the company closed. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge of Reidsville, NC.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Lois Finch Wilson; son, Myron "Stink" Wilson; sisters, Barbara Dalton, Edith Goff, Thelma Galloway, and Vernice Wilson; and brothers, Lionel Wilson, Lorenzo Wilson and Harry Wilson.

He leaves to cherish precious memories: son, Walter E. Wilson, Jr. (Teresa) of Reidsville, NC; sisters, Dora Walker and Shirley Weeks, both of Reidsville, NC; brothers, Bobby Wilson, and John Wilson, both of Reidsville, NC; grandchild, all of Reidsville, NC; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
