REIDSVILLE, NC - Mr. Victor Lee McCain, age 83, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at his residence.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Denise McCain (1312 Hawthorne Avenue, Reidsville, NC) and his residence (1407 Hawkins Street, Reidsville, NC).

"Vick" as he was affectionately called was born in Rockingham County, NC on September 4, 1942 to James Lee "Scott" McCain and Laura McCollum McCain.

He was educated in the local public schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.

For many years, he was employed at Macfield and later retired from Avante' at Reidsville.

In his spare-time, he loved playing biz whiz, watching sports, and was an avid basketball player.

Survivors include daughter, Denise McCain (Tim); sister, Evelyn McCain; grandson, Brandon Sharpe; great-grandchildren, Mariyah Sharpe and  Denim Sharpe; special cousin, Terri Gorrell; a host of relatives and friends.
