Obituary

Tommy Fitzgerald Williamson was born on April 11, 1968 to Annie S. Williamson and Elmer Williamson who preceded him in death. Others preceded him in death were his grandparents Daisy M. Sanders, Russell Sanders, Elmer Williamson, and Mable Williamson. Uncles and Aunts that preceded him in death were Russell L. Sanders, Charles Williamson, Willie Mae Williamson, and Queenie Blackwell.
His Home Going will be Celebrated at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel at 1:O'Clock on February 20, 2015, and burial will following at the New Center Primitive Baptist Church, Reidsville, NC.

He was a graduate of Reidsville Senior High School. Tommy was a compassionate, kindhearted, and a great person who loved his children, family, and his racing cars. His racing name was "Ram Junk." His co-workers described him as a kind, hard working person that would go out of his way to help others.

Tommy's formal employers were Zarn's, Equity Meat, Odell Steel, and Pace Chevrolet. He was the owner and operator of "Williamson Automotive Detailer that was located on Highway 14. He was also a member of the "Chevrolet Racing Club." His racing buddies and classmates have been an inspiration to the family. Tommy was loved by his family, friends, racing buddies, and classmates, and he will truly be missed by all.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Three children; DeShawn Blackwell, Reidsville, NC; James T. Echols, Greensboro, NC and April Pickard, Reidsville, NC. A Brother, Tony Williamson of Swan Quarter, NC; Sister, LaNeeka Williamson, Ruffin, NC; and his God Father, Pastor Tommy Williamson (Pauline), Yanceyville, NC.

His aunt, Inez Fields and Uncle Jon W. Fields, Reidsville, NC; Other Aunts: Lula S. Ellington, Willette S. Pinnix and Annie W. Bowden of Reidsville, NC; Louise Williamson and Chris Williamson of Ruffin, NC; an Uncle, Thomas Blackwell, Reidsville, NC.
Great Aunts, Bessie Sheff, Brooklyn, NY; Cornelia K. Mullins and Lona Mae Williamson, Reidsville, NC; Mary W. Jones, Pelham, NC; Jennie Totten, Eden, NC and Isabel Totten, Yanceyville, NC.

Step-mother, Bessie Williamson, Ruffin, NC and Special Friend Camille Alston, Reidsville, NC. He leave to cherish his memories cousins, who was like brothers and sisters to him: Timothy Sanders, Robert Reid, Jr., James Pinnix, Jr. Ronnie Ellington Jr., Tyrone Williamson, Ray Pickard, Anthony Blackwell, Shelitha Ellington, LaR'ese Ellington, Anita Bethel, Tonya W. Wheeler, and Tammy Wilson, and other family and friends.
