MEBANE, NC - Miss. Teriyah RaSha' Herbin, age 14, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2 p.m. from the Beyond Measure Ministries, 904 E. Main Street, Haw River, NC. The viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the family arriving at 1:30 p.m.

At the request of the family there will be no public viewing at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home on Friday.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her parents in Mebane, NC .

Teriyah RaShá Herbin left this earthly home on Saturday, March 7, 2026 to make heaven a little more "Lit". Teriyah was born on August 22, 2011. She brought light, laughs and a lasting impression wherever she went.

A student at Eastern Alamance High School, Teriyah was known by her peers as a fun, outgoing, and opinionated individual. She loved cheer, dance, and music. One of her favorite songs was "Busted" by Ron Isley, which she knew word for word. Teriyah was a very competitive and outspoken person. She was going to tell you exactly what was on her mind and she was going to try her best to be the best at everything she put her mind to do.

Teriyah is survived by parents Tiffany and (Seth Bryan) and Thomas Herbin; brothers: Trynton Wiley, Javion Herbin, Jaylen Herbin, and Jeremiah Blackwell; sister: T'Kariya Wiley and Tadryel Bryan; her beloved nephew Trystan Wiley better known to Teriyah as "Buddy"; grandparents: Sheila and Willie Williams, Walter and Portias Graves, Pamela Herbin, Thomas and Gloria Richardson; great grandmothers: Wanda Herbin and Minnie Coleman-Trent; uncle Travis Graves; aunts: TaJuana Graves and Tequila Herbin; first cousins: Talyn, Traven, TaMiyah, TaLeah, Kahree, Rashad; Godmother: Neka Swann; Godsisters: Tynia Swann and Clarencia McCray; special friends: Madison, Kayla
and Bailey, as well as a host of bonus family; great aunts and great uncles; cousins and friends.

Although Teriyah left this earth way too soon, her beautiful, spunky and loving spirit will live on through the memories we shared with her.
