BURLINGTON - Mr. Steven Christopher Hill, age 34, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Public viewing will begin on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 2 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. A candlelight vigil will follow at 7 p.m. at the Burlington City Park, 1388 Main Street, Burlington, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Morningstar Baptist Church, 419 Cates Avenue, Burlington, NC. The public viewing will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the family visitation at 12:30 p.m. Bishop Terry L. Young officiating.

The committal and interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery, Burlington, NC.

Steven was born on August 29, 1990 in Rockville MD to Darrell Steven Hill and Sherry Walker Hill-Barton.

He was educated in the local public schools and formerly attended Walter Williams High School.

For the majority of his life he worked in landscaping. Currently, he was in school studying to be an electrician.

In his spare time, he loved going to the beach, exercising, skating, fishing, hiking, disc-golf and listening to old jazz.

Survivors include father, Darrell Steven Hill; mother, Sherry Barton; sisters, Brittney Tucker Harris (Drew) and Candice Hill; nieces/nephews, Dezire Harris, Jaeden Harris, Braylen Hill, Malikhi Hill and Rhiyah Hill; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss Steven tremendously.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Willie T. Graves and Deborah Bell, Martha and Issac Hill; beloved aunt, Louise (Wezzie) Morrow.
