Stephon Tyrique Alston, age 7, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012.

Stephon was born September 8, 2004 in Lawrenceville, GA. He was a second grade student at Sugar Hill Elementary School and excelled in math and loved reading. He loved sports, football, baseball, golf and karate. He enjoyed his DSi XL and his DS 3D and loved his dog, Snickers.

He is survived by his mother, Erica Harrison, Alston, Sugar Hill, GA; father, Stephen Alston, Cumming, GA; sister, Enricka Shante Alston; grandparents, Chester and Gwendolyn Harrison, Reidsville, NC and Samuel and Daisy Alston, Reidsville, NC; great-grandparents, Thomas and Virginia Harrison, Winston-Salem, NC and Virginia Rone, Reidsville, NC; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Price officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Local Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Sat. August 4, 2012 at Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church Inc. with a visitation 2:30-3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
