Shirley Ann Robertson, 56, of Charlotte, NC, passed Monday, August 10, 2015. She was born November 15, 1959 in Reidsville, NC to Constance McDaniel Robertson and Joe Robertson, who preceded her in death.
She graduated Reidsville High School-Class of 1979, Strayer University and was also a licensed cosmetologist. Her greatest and most cherished accomplishment was to receive the prophetic call of God. Under the tutelage of the late Major Prophet, Dr. Ronnie Tomblin, Prophetess Shirley Robertson earned her Bachelor of Prophetic Arts degree from The Elijah School of Prophets. She traveled the east coast as an instructor and mentor for those with a prophetic call.
Prophetess Robertson blessed many with her talents. She was known for her cooking, decorating and her immaculate sense of style. She loved the Lord and "wanted to be a blessing to God's people." She was described by those who knew her as being a friend to all; ready to provide words of encouragement and random acts of kindness. She immersed herself in the Charlotte community. She involved herself with the homeless ministry and volunteered at the election polls.
Mourning our loss, yet cherishing her memory are aunts, cousins, co-workers, neighbors and a many treasured friends and acquaintances.
Memorial Services will be 3:00pm, Sunday, August 23, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 401 Hubbard St., Reidsville, NC with Dr. Joseph A. Bryant officiating. Family visitation will begin at 2:30pm. Interment will be at a later date when she will rest in the arms of her beloved mother.
