Mrs. Sheryl Denise Middleton Oliphant, beloved wife of Dan Oliphant, lost her battle with Covid-19 on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas.  A private family memorial will be held at Faith Christian Center Church on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Denise was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 15, 1954 to Fred and Norma Middleton.  She moved to Beaumont Texas, where she married Dan Oliphant.  She was formerly employed by and retired from Exxon Mobile in Beaumont, Texas.

Denise is preceded in death by her father, Fred Middleton; brother, Gregory Middleton; and son, Val Jean Jackson III.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  husband of 31 years, Dan Oliphant; daughter, Jennifer Jackson; son, Lance Oliphant; granddaughters, Cammie Oliphant, Alexis Lewis, Alaya Turner, Alahna Lewis, and Zoe' Jackson; great-grandson, Cooper Guzman; her mother, Norma Middleton; mother-in-law, Esther Oliphant; sisters-in-law, Peggy Oliphant, Cynthia Oliphant Lee (James) and Rita Oliphant Wilson (Frank); special sisters, Cheryll Doughtery, and Deb Jackson; special brother, Michael Jackson; and a plethora of other relatives and dear friends.
