Ms. Sharon Louvenia Lewis Moyer passed on Saturday,  February 8, 2020 at Brian Rehabilitation Center in Eden, NC.  Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, February 14, 2020 at Jerusalem United Holy Church, Reidsville, NC with a visitation 11:30 am prior to the service and burial in Greenview Cemetery. Public viewing will be Thursday from 12:00-7:00 pm.

Always making a way to keep moving, affectionately known as the "Tricycle Lady" –
Sharon Louvenia Lewis Moyer, 58, of Reidsville, NC.

After spending many breaks from school and long summers in Reidsville, Sharon became a Reidsvillian at fourteen. Sharon, a graduate of Reidsville High School, class of 1979, began a life of helping others through many of her career choices. Sharon began a lifetime of learning while taking classes and becoming certified as an Auto-Mechanic. For more than 20 years, Sharon practiced Nursing and loved all aspects of it. She was a graduate of the first class of Licensed Practical Nurses from Rockingham County Community College, class of 1984.  Until her health made it impossible, Sharon was active in the Reidsville Community, especially helping in the field of Nursing when possible. Serving in the community, she volunteered at the Reidsville YMCA and throughout Reidsville. If you knew her well or barely at all, she always left you thinking. Whether it was about how absolutely beautiful her hair and makeup was done, ridiculously funny, or just down right inappropriate she was, she left her mark.  Sharon will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.  Sharon's stubborn, yet loving and caring personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs she forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents: Willie Roy Lewis, Sr. and Flora France Lewis; and siblings, Willie Roy Lewis, Jr. and Michael Anthony Lewis.

Those left to cherish precious memories include: her sons, Julian Lewis Moyer and Jarod Jordan Hart-Moyer; grandchildren, Keishawne Kameryn Moyer and Aaliya Oliva LaToya White-Hart; siblings, James Lewis (Sylvia), Jacqueline Lewis ("Teddy"), and Robert Lewis; nieces, Camille Moulton-Trofort (Patrick), Shamika Lewis, Angel Thurston McCann (Ramel), LaToya Thurston Griggs (Taurus), Avra Lewis, Monique Keller (David), Jamie Lewis, Ezana Griggs, Karen Griggs, and Mariah Griggs-Foust; the nephew, TaShawn Griggs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
