REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Sarah Ann Lee Lynn, age 81, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Gibson House Ancora Compassionate Care.
Public viewing will begin on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at West End Baptist Church, 805 Vance Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor, Reverend Reginald Cook officiating and Reverend Lawrence Costner, eulogist.
Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

Mrs. Sarah was born in Rockingham County, NC on December 8, 1942 to the late John "Brownie" Pickard and late Margaret Lee. She was married to the late Joseph Albert Lynn.
She was educated in the local public schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1962.
She was a faithful member at West End Baptist Church until her health declined. She served on the cooking committee, pastors aide and senior choir.
In her leisure time, she loved watching westerns, soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing cook.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Faye Lynn and Maggie Mae Cummings (Ronnie); 3 grandchildren, Shaunta Jones (Eddie), Danny Simmons and Sydne' Simmons; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, George H. Pickard (Ernestine) and Clarence Lee; sister, Deborah Pickard; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Ann Lynn; great-granddaughter, Shakiya Wilson; brothers, Freddie Lee, Leon Settle and Walter King.
