Ms. Sandra L Manning was born on August 22, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Luther Manning and the late Lula Hurd Manning.  She departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Annie Penn Hospital, in Reidsville, North Carolina.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elm Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on McLaurin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Sandra began her journey with Christ at Rising Star Baptist Church in East Saint Louis, Illinois at an early age and later moved her membership to Elm Grove Baptist Church in Reidsville, North Carolina, where she was a member of the Gospel Choir and served as a dedicated member of the church.

Sandra graduated from Orange High School class of 1978 in Hillsborough, North Carolina and briefly attended Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Sandra was a devoted mother and had great love and respect for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, and spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. Sandra saw the positive in every situation and this positivity never changed, not even during her pain and sickness.

She is survived by her father, Luther Manning, of the home; her three children, Quirstin Snipes of Greensboro, NC, Quaneta Pearson of Eden, NC, and Ashley Snipes, of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Jaleel, Jaquarius, LeAsia, and Harmony; sister, Sharon Rakes of Durham, NC; nephews, Kevin and Drevonne; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
