Aug 25, 1965 — Jul 10, 2025
Sandra Dee Blackwell, of Ambler, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 59. Born in Philadelphia on August 25, 1965, she was the beloved daughter of the late Billy McKinley Blackwell and Deloris F. Williamson Blackwell.Sandra graduated from Abington High School in 1983 and earned her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Manor Junior College in 1987. For 31 years, she dedicated her professional life to SofterWare Inc., where she served as an Event Coordinator, known for her meticulous planning, warm presence, and unwavering dedication.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sandra's greatest joy came from the simple pleasures of life-reading, especially romance and supernatural fiction, and cooking for loved ones. She had a deep love for travel, particularly cruising to the islands-St. Thomas, Tortola, Puerto Rico, and Barbados-and spending time in places dear to her heart like Wildwood, New Jersey, and Lake Nockamixon.
Family was the cornerstone of Sandra's life. She found her greatest happiness in the company of those she loved. Her mother, Deloris, was the most influential person in her life, shaping the woman Sandra became-gracious, kind, and strong.
Sandra is survived by her loving partner, Angela Coleman; her cherished sisters Brenda Redd (Oscar) and Theresa Graves; her devoted brothers Marvin Blackwell (Angela) and Billy Blackwell; and her treasured nephews and niece: Randall Redd, Timothy Blackwell, Eric Blackwell, Cameron Blackwell, Lee Graves, and Briahnna Graves. She also leaves behind great-nephews Brandall Redd, Zachery Redd, Quentin Blackwell, Xavier Blackwell, great-niece Corcha Redd and great-great nephew Taylan Neal. Sandra will also be deeply missed by her lifelong best friend, Eileen Herbert Weber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother William Pink Williamson, brother-in-law Leslie Graves, and her beloved stepdaughter, Sunnie.
Sandra's legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will live on in all who knew her. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
