REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Ruth Helen Moore-Davis, age 86, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Gibson House Ancora Hospice in Reidsville, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 12 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1004 W. Harrison Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Pastor, Reverend Gregory Lee, officiating and Reverend Samuel H. Moore, Jr., eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

Ruth was born on August 1, 1938 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Charles Wesley Moore, Sr., and the late Francis Sarah Garrett Moore.

She was a faithful member of Wesley Chapel UMC and served as the church secretary until her health declined.

For many years she worked as a Computer Programmer for AT&T.

She was marred to the late Leroy Davis.

Survivors include brother, Charles Wesley Moore, Jr.; nieces, Uchenna A. Armstrong, Yvette Moore, Marcia Moore-Lyons, Sandra Bryant Cheyenne Moore and Jessica Moore; nephews, Ronald Bruce Moore, John McAllister, Jr., Raymond Owens, Roy Yancey, Kenneth Coleman, Ray Watson and John Moore; a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Will Henry Moore, Samuel Edward Moore, Sr., Anne Coleman, Gladys McAllister, Irene Moore, Inez Owens, Richetta Armstrong, Marie Epps, Mary Maroney and Doris Graves.
