Rosa F. Page Stubblefield, 90, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2025, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate in Charlotte, NC.
Born on September 15, 1935, in Caswell County, North Carolina, Rosa was the beloved daughter of the late John Henry Page and Eleanor Brown Page. She received her early education in the Rockingham County Schools and served faithfully in the school system for 25 years, touching the lives of many children and families.
Rosa dedicated her life to faith, family, and service. She was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church until her health declined. Her love for Christ was evident in her words and actions, and even in her final days, she continued to call on His name.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Stubblefield; her son, Michael Stubblefield; and her siblings, Mildred Gatling, John Page Jr., Ida Mae Hart, Joseph Page, Barbara Carter, and Nelson Page.
She leaves behind five children: Dennis Stubblefield of Reidsville, Greg Stubblefield of Charlotte, Karen Stubblefield of South Carolina, Troy Stubblefield of Ruffin, and Rosetta Brown (Derek) of Reidsville. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Dana, Ashley, Jazz, Kendall, David, and Lance; her great-grandson Josiah; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory.
We hold close the memories of you, Mother, your strength, your love, and your quiet wisdom. We cherish the gift of having shared life with you. Now, we find comfort in knowing that you are safe in the arms of Jesus, reunited with your parents, siblings, and son.
No more worries. No more fears. And by God's mercy, no more pain.
We will miss you dearly, Mother, until we see you again. Rest well, Mama.
