HARRISBURG, NC - Rev. Dr. Benjamin F. Whitlock, 84, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 from the First Missionary Baptist Church, 59 Chestnut Drive, Concord, NC. The viewing will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m.

His enduring life of scholarship, service, and sacred calling will forever be remembered. In celebration of a life devoted to faith and service, the family invites memorial gifts to his beloved Shaw University (click here to donate) in loving memory of Rev. Dr. Benjamin F. Whitlock, in lieu of flowers.
