On Friday, May 22, 2015, Regina Mae Hildebrand, affectionately known as Gina Mae, peacefully made her transition into life eternal and Christian victory was declared after enduring a period of illness. As the earthly life of our beloved has come to close, we yet rejoice, knowing her immortal life mean resurrection and everlasting peace.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Saint Paul United Methodist Church with a visitation 1:30 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. prior to the service and burial to follow in the Greenview Cemetery.
Born on January 6, 1955 in Reidsville, North Carolina, she was the offspring of the late Peonia Ferguson Hildebrand and William G. Hildebrand Sr. She was educated in the Rockingham County School System where she excelled in her studies. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson C. Smith University in 1979.
Regina was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she formerly served with the Gospel Choir and as the church secretary. She was a former employee of Miller Brewing Company, American Express and Sears.
She leaves to lament her passing: one daughter, Timitra Wilson (Haywood) of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Virginia McCracken of Baltimore, M.D., brothers, William G. Hildebrand 'Boonie' and Gary A. Hildebrand (Carolyn) both of Reidsville, N.C., nieces, Angel Sanders of Baltimore, M.D. and Tracey Mitchell (Dominique) of Reidsville, N.C., nephew, Gabriel Hildebrand of Reidsville, N.C., godson, Drew Manns of Reidsville, N.C. and her close high school friends also known as 'The Fearsome Foursome" Joan Slade Manns, Reathy Hart and Sharon Garrett Crisp all of Reidsville, N.C.
