Radell "Pluke" Hensley

EDEN, NC - Mr. Radell Amos Hensley, lovingly called "Pluke," departed this world peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Cypress Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, 2026 from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street Reidsville, NC. The viewing and visitation with the family will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. Minister George Gunn will preside.

The committal and interment will follow in the Hairston's Family Cemetery, Eden, NC.

On August 10, 2026, Radell Amos Hensley, lovingly called “Pluke” followed the Lord’s hand and entered his eternal home where he will once again meet his father, Ernest Hensley, Jr., mother, Nannie Randolph Hensley, brothers, Larry McKinly Hensley, Reginald Leray Hensley and Larry Dillard who preceded him in death.

Radell was born in Caswell County to Ernest Hensley, Jr. and Nannie Randolph Hensley on May 23, 1948.

Everyone who knew Radell knew that he loved his family. He was a kind, loving and giving person and will be missed by many. He would give you his last. He attended Lincoln Elementary and Booker T. Washington High School.

In addition to his father, mother and brothers, those left to cherish his memories are; brothers, Alfornia “Mickey” Hensley of Eden, NC, Eric “Ed”Hensley (Tasha) of Eden, NC; sisters, Bessie Mills Blackstock of Eden, NC, Vickie Jean Scott (John) of Reidsville, NC, Therese Hensley and Theresa Slade of Greensboro, NC; extended family, Carolyn Courts, Joan Courts, Ronnie Courts, Adorian (George) Courts of Reidsville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
