REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Nancy Odell Graves Setzer, age 80, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Gibson House Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, North Carolina.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Graves Setzer will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, North Carolina. The family visitation will take place at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Willie Sellars, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in New Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Reidsville, North Carolina.

Nancy was born in Rockingham County, NC on May 19, 1944 to Elder Earnest Scott Graves and Helen Mae Harris Graves "Hattie".

She was educated in the public schools system and graduated form Booker T. Washington High School, class of 1962. She later attended Winston-Salem State University majoring in education.

After marrying Samuel Setzer, they moved to Florida where she briefly worked in education.

After returning to Reidsville, she worked at Cook Florist Assisted Living until her health declined and resided in the care of Beverly Rucker Family Care Home

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Carter Lee Graves.

Survivors are siblings, Perry Graves Sr., Ricky T. Graves (Gloria), Shirley Graves Foster, Helen Mae Graves Johnson and Pearletta Graves; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family request donations be made to the Gibson House Ancora Compassionate Care, 2150 NC-65, Reidsville, NC.
