Reidsville- Mrs. Myrtle W. Neal passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, March 15, 2012 at Hospice of Rockingham County.

Myrtle was born May 5, 1915 to the late Abe Williamson and Ada King Williamson. She attended and completed, New Ephesus Elementary School. She worked many years at various jobs, including farming, house- keeping and American Tobacco Company.

Myrtle was a faithful and hard working member of New Ephesus Baptist Church. She was a member of the Usher Board, Missionary Circle, Pastor's Aide and also an Association Delegate. She loved to cook and did so for many functions.


She was preceded in death by: Her husband; Arthur Neal, brothers; Claude and Jimmy Williamson, sisters; Pearl Williamson, Annie Blackwell and Bertha Bushnell.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one brother-in-law; David Williamson, Brian Center, Yanceyville, NC. Nephews: Edward Bushnell, of the home; Jerry Williamson, Yanceyville, NC. Devoted great- nephews: Robert "Teddy Boo" Neal, Reidsville, NC; Leonard J. Hughes, Columbus, Ohio and E. Jerome Bushnell, Reidsville, NC. Nieces: DeLone King (Robert), Reidsville, NC; Ada James (Howard) , Sanford, NC; Glenna Graves (Forrest), Clinton, Maryland; Joy Farrish (Leroy), Reidsville, NC, and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
