On Sunday, December 1, 2012, Myron Keith Wilson made his transition into eternal rest. Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend was born in Rockingham County to Walter E. Wilson Sr., and the late Lois Finch Wilson. We are thankful for the time we shared with him.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2012 at McLaurin Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with a visitation 12:30-1:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Myron was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County and a retiree of the American Tobacco Company.

Myron never met a stranger and made friends easily, because he loved to talk. He was always friendly and kind and greeted you with a smile. He seemed to know everybody and he loved to joke and make people laugh.

He was married to Linda Kaye Wilson and they have two daughters, Tonya and Denise.

In remembrance of moments shared that brings comfort and peace to surviving relatives are: two daughters; Tonya Marie Wilson and Denise Wilson Drummond(MariAnder), dad; Walter E. Wilson, Sr., four grandchildren; Nadin, Alayshia, Tanasia and JaNysia, brother; Walter E. Wilson Jr.(Teresa), one aunt; Edith Gothe, Bronx, NY and friend; Dorothy Perry, other relatives and a host of treasured friends.
