REIDSVILLE - Mother Willie Mae Lawson, age 95, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at her residence.
Mother Lawson will lie in repose beginning on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at M & L Memorial Faith Tabernacle, 711 Willow Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 1 p.m. Bishop Felecia Kellam, presiding and Bishop L. Bernard Florence, eulogist.
The committal and entombment will follow in the Moyer Family Cemetery, Stoneville, NC.

Willie Mae Moyer Lawson was born on September 1, 1929 in Stoneville, NC to the late Bishop Lawrence W. Moyer Sr., and the late Annie Mae Broadnax Moyer, and was married to the late Pastor James Marvin Lawson.
She was the founder of Lawson's Family Care Homes and helped establish the M & L Memorial Faith Tabernacle Church in Reidsville, NC.
She leaves to celebrate her life: devoted children, Pastor James A. Lawson (Judy) and Brenda Lawson Gwynn; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Idella Kellam; a host of relatives and friends.
