REIDSVILLE, NC - Mrs. Mildred Cummings Carter, age 85, gracefully completed her earthly journey on the morning of Tuesday, July 28, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her home.
A viewing will begin on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1 until 5 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2026 from the St. Mariah United Holy Church, 127 McCoy Road, Reidsville, NC. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. Bishop Harry L. Cohen will serve as eulogist.
The committal and interment will follow in the St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.
All other times, the family will receive friends at the home - 157 Lovings Road, Reidsville, NC.
