Melvin A. Watkins passed away on August 6, 2018 at Hospice of Rockingham County.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Zion Baptist Church at 12:00 P.M.
Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.
Public viewing will be Friday, August 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M.
Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Chyrese Wilfong Watkins; children Heavenly Carroll, Renee Watkins Cook, Tamara Watkins,
Tyrone Gibbs (Shai) of Houston, TX; Venus Womble (Darrell), and DeAndre Gibbs of Conroe, Tx; 19 grandchildren;
4 great-grandchildren; sisters Carlene Joyce, Cathy Watkins, Francetta Pickard and Mary Tayborn;
sister-in-law Maxcine Thomas
