REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Mary Lynn Price Brown, age 91, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 1 p.m. from the Camp Springs United Methodist Church, 9502 Cherry Grove Road, Reidsville, NC. Elder Phyllis Coates, pastor and eulogist.

Inurnment will follow in the Camp Springs Church UMC Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

Mary was born Red Jacket, WV on July 12, 1934 to the late Lawrence Price and Nettie Johnson Price.

She was married to the Late Vance Brown, Sr.

For many years, she worked for Sylvania.

She confessed her faith in Christ and joined the Camp Springs United Methodist Church where she was an active and faithful member of the Sunday School as long as she was able.

Mary used her talents to show her love and concern for the Rockingham County Extension Homemakers Club.

Mary's legacy of faith, her beautiful smile and kindness will continue to inspire us.

Survivors include daughter, Joanne Scales of Greensboro, NC; son, Vance Brow n, Jr. of Reidsville; brother, Charles Price of Alexandria, VA; a host of relatives and friends.
