He was born to the late Simon Herbin and Katie Farrish-Herbin on March 10, 1937. He lived a very productive and outgoing life for 87 blessed years.

As a native and lifelong resident of Reidsville, North Carolina. Mamion was a retiree from the Rockingham County Department of Social Services where he served as a Motor Transportation Advisor and Driver, which he retired after 31 years. Mamion was a member of the Reidsville Downtown Senior Citizens Club. While in retirement, he enjoyed his time fishing, working on his cars, attending gospel concerts and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mamion was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a loyal friend who was loved by many. Mamion's beautiful smile and friendly personality was a constant reminder of love, faithfulness and friendship that he gave to everyone in his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 59 years, Nellie S. Herbin; siblings, Felix D. Herbin, Baisley J. Herbin, Betty Q. Johnson and Clara O. Abbott.
