RUFFIN - Mr. Lynn Howard DeJournette, age 59, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in Smithfield, NC.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Lynn was born in Rockingham County, NC on March 18, 1965 to Calvin DeJournette and Mattie Dickerson DeJournette.

He was educated in the public schools system and attended Rockingham County High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mattie DeJournette; sister, Isabelle DeJournette; brothers, Ray Charles DeJournette and Kim Lee.

Survivors include son, Lee Pearson; sister, Diane DeJournette; brothers, Calvin DeJournette (Alease), Ricky DeJournette (Ella), Donald DeJournette and Dwight DeJournette; a host of relatives and friends.
