Mr. Lonza L. Graves, age 59, passed away. God released him to rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at his residence.

Public viewing Friday, February 2, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Saint James Baptist Church, 246 Benton Road, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Pastor Thomas Long will deliver the words of comfort.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is receiving visitors at the home of Pastor Thomas and Evangelist Geneva Long in Caswell County, NC.

Mr. Graves was born on November 26, 1964 in Caswell County, NC to the late Isaiah Graves and Mother Dorothy Graves Southern.

He loved going to church and listening to the pastor preach. You could often hear him say "Amen". He had a loving spirit and loved to laugh and tease.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Southern; aunts, Evangelist Geneva Long (Pastor Thomas), Reverend Mae Long, Lena Graves, Richetta Perkins and Sara Wright; caregiver, R.D. Graves; a host of many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; cousin, Elbert Graves and others.
