Mr. Larry Donnell Bolden passed on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Fayetteville, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Smyrna Church of Christ with family visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will be conducted with full military honors at the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.  Public viewing will be on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Larry D. Bolden was born on September 6, 1960 in Reidsville, NC to the late Robert Spencer Bolden and Catherine Moore Bolden.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was a former member of Smyrna Church of Christ.

Larry was united in marriage to Joni Walls Bolden on July 16, 1990 and together, they raised three nieces, Danielle Haynes, Tressie Walls, and Tatayanna Arline, all of Jacksonville. FL.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1985 until 2007, when he decided to retire after 22 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister – Doris Bolden Randolph; and brothers – Robert Earl Bolden and Melvin "Pop" Bolden.

Those left to cherish him in memory are his loving wife – Joni Walls Bolden, of Fayetteville, GA; brothers – "Eddie" James Bolden (Mary), of Reidsville, NC, Clarence Bolden (Paulette), of Reidsville, NC; his sisters – Odessa Bolden, of Greensboro, NC, Mary Jane Bolden, of Reidsville, NC, and Brenda Gwynn (Carl), of Reidsville, NC; sisters-in-law – Carolyn Bolden, of Kernersville, NC, Yevette Walls, of Jacksonville, FL; brothers-in-law – Mark Richardson, of Jacksonville, Fl; and a plethora of wonderful nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
