REIDSVILLE, NC - Mr. Kenneth Clark McCain, age 72, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Guilford Health Care Center in Greensboro, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 from the Piney Fork Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 395 Riverside Circle, Eden, NC. The visitation and viewing will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the service at 10 a.m.

His parents were the late Clark McCain and Florence McCain. He is survived by his siblings, Gloria (Glo) and Tyrone (Ronie).

He was married to Lillian McCain Woodbury. He is survived by his children: Damien (Nilay), Christina, Jonathan (Angelica), Lillie-Rose (Emeridge), Timothy (Madai), Joshua (Shiraya), and Jacob.

His grandchildren are Jermaine, Travis Zachery, Pelin, Santiago, Adalyn, Joel, Aaralyn, Hezekiah, Adonijah, Ahmon, and Brielle.

Kenny loved to play music and could play nearly every instrument, including the saxophone, bass guitar, electric guitar, and keyboard. He was in a band that opened for the Ohio Players and was a part of many bands, including Heartbeat2Soul, where he played for many years.

He served for a short time in the Air Force. He loved driving buses (winning a bus rodeo trophy) and wore his watches backwards.

He taught his children to work hard, be respectful to others, and have good manners. He was an example of what selfless sacrifice looks like. He had the heart of an engineer (known for his "ghetto rigging"), an auto mechanic (his "jerry rigging"), and he owned his own lawn care business (his kids).
