WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Mrs. Jennifer Melinda Lee Jumper, 65, of Winston-Salem, NC, gently passed away on July 1, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

A viewing will begin on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 from the Living Water Baptist Church,1300 Brentwood Street, High Point, NC. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the service at 12 p.m. Bishop David Callands, Jr. will serve as eulogist.

Jennifer Lee Jumper left this earth peacefully on July 1, 2026, at the age of 65.

Born on November 6th, 1960, in Reidsville, North Carolina, Jennifer was the cherished daughter of Freddie and Addie Lee, who preceded her in death.

Jennifer was a proud graduate of Reidsville Senior School, Class of 1979. Her dedication to education and her commitment to her community were evident throughout her life. A woman of great warmth and integrity, she touched many lives with her kindness and unwavering support.

Her loving partner of 26 years Larry Murrell who shared in her life's many journeys. Her legacy lives on through her devoted children. Jennifer was a proud and nurturing mother to Roderick Howard, who resides in Fort Washington Maryland with his partner Omari; Rica Howard, who lives in Winston Salem NC; Rayshawn Jumper in Charlotte NC; and Wayne Jumper Greensboro, NC who each continue to carry forward her spirit and love.

Jennifer was a cherished sister to her siblings, who mourn her passing yet celebrate the many cherished moments they shared. Her brothers and sisters, Aubrey (Vander) Withers of Reidsville NC, Pamela (Gaines) Rivers of High Point NC, Carletta (Clayton) Rice of Winston Salem NC, Beverly (Cleveland) Evans of Winston Salem NC, Freddrick Lee of Greensville SC, Robin Johnson of Greensville SC, Linda Johnson of Greensboro NC, Aunt Carrie Pass of Greensboro NC, Uncle Clarence Lee of Baltimore MD.

Jennifer's professional life was marked by her dedication and hard work. She served as an Assistant Manager at Burger King from 2002 to 2010, where she built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Later, she brought her talents to Kohl's as a Replenishment/Merchandise Associate and to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Winston Salem in 2012. She loved cooking and taking care of her family and animals throughout the years. She also loved to laugh and was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan.

Her friends and extended family reflect on the joy she brought into their lives, and they are grateful for the memories and love she shared so freely. Jennifer's life was a testament to the power of compassion and kindness, and her legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Jennifer will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she is loved beyond words. May she rest in eternal peace.
