REIDSVILLE - Mr. James Allen Russell, age 73, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

James was married to Debra Lane Russell for 53 years who passed away 5 days after his death.

You may sign the register beginning on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

A combined service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. at McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. Reverend William C. Hairston, eulogist.

The family will receive visitors at 957 Brooks Road, Reidsville, NC.

He was born on May 13, 1951 in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies to Isaiah Russell and Laleita Russell.

At age 17, he moved to the United States and worked in printing for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Watt and his sister, Icelyn Easy.

Survivors include siblings, Lloyd Russell, Lorna Russell, Evan Russell (Veronica), Herman Russell (Audrey) and Byron Russell; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
