Ms. Izora K. Eaves passed on Monday, June 3, 2019 at UNC-Morehead Hospital in Eden, NC.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lillian H. McLaurin Memorial Chapel with family visitation one half hour prior to the service.  Public viewing will be on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Born on July 13, 1979 to Diana and Larry Britt, Izora attended school in Uniondale, New York.  She relocated to Reidsville, North Carolina and attended Rockingham Community College to receive her GED.

Izora joined Tabernacle of Prayer at an early age and especially loved attending Bible Study and Sunday School.  She also loved to pray and her wonderful Soprano voice could often be heard singing His praises.

She was a great cook and especially loved cooking up her children's favorite dishes upon request.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry.

She leaves to cherish precious memories:  son – Elijah Z. Eaves, of the home; daughters – Raeonna Eaves and Anasia Eaves, both of the home; mother – Diana Britt, of Brooklyn, NY; Special Aunt/Guardian – Juanita Dillard (Hezekiah), of Morrisville, NC; twin sister – Iasia A. Eaves, of Freeport, NY and sister - Shakeea Brister, of New Britain, CT; brothers – Larry Britt, of New York, NY and Iesa Britt, of Las Vegas, NV; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
