Born on June 27, 1964, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to Mattie Sue Williams and the late Rev. James Willie Williams, Irving was the second born of three children.  He attended Rockingham County Senior High School, Wentworth, North Carolina.  Irving was a member of the Mt Herman Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the Men's Choir.  His favorite song was "I Got Jesus."

Irving's favorite hobbies were playing cards and fishing.  He was an avid wrestling fan, and his favorite wrestler was "The Undertaker."  He also loved watching Sanford and Son.  He had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh. The song that made him laugh the most was "The Fat Boys are Back!" And, he had a nickname for everyone.  He also had an extraordinary place in his heart for Princess, his loving pet dog, and two cats.  Everyone who knew Irving knows that he loved life and was determined not to be hindered by physical limitations.  He did what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it. That was his strength!  Irving was exceptionally blessed and met the challenges of life head-on and without fear.  Born on June 27, 1964, he departed this life on June 27, 2021.
