Mrs. Ida Lee Settle Starke, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. She was born on March 24, 1943 in Rockingham County and was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Johnnie Freeman Settle.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 420 Mizpah Church Road, Reidsville, NC. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory - husband, Robert Starke, of the home; four children - Timothy Starke, or Reidsville, NC, Crystal Starke Foster (Reginald) of McLeansville, NC, Steven Starke, of Kernersville, NC and Charman Starke, of Atlanta, GA; mother - Ruth Bell Settle, of Reidsville, NC; sisters - Josephine Stokes (Paul), Patricia Settle, all of Reidsville, NC and Willie L. Settle of Louisville, KY; thirteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
