Ian Jermaine Harrison was born on December 2, 1982 to Maurice and Jacqueline Harrison and was birthed at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He made his transition into everlasting life on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Funeral Services will take place on Monday June 6 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be held at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Reidsville, NC. Viewing will take place from12:00 to 12:30 and family visitation will immediately follow from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Public viewing will be Sunday, 11:00 am until 7:oo p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home.

He was academically astute and committed to education and a passionate accomplished sports fan. He graduated from Reidsville High School and continued his education by following the path laid out by his parents at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and ECPI Technical Institute in Greensboro, North Carolina. Ian began his sports career at an early age and went on to win trophies for track and field, football, basketball, and karate throughout elementary, middle, and high school.

He is survived by his parents Maurice and Jacqueline Harrison of Gibsonville, North Carolina, His finance' Ericka Mattox and sons Jayden Harrison and Jaxon Harrison of the home, one brother Maurice Harrison, Jr. of Gibsonville, North Carolina, his adopted sister Latoya Settle of Reidsville, North Carolina, an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other friends and extended family and friends of Reidsville, North Carolina, Martinsville, Virginia and surrounding areas
