REIDSVILLE - Mr. Hubert Lee Murphy, age 58, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Honoring his request, there will be no public viewing.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2 p.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Dawnya Florence will preside and Pastor Bobby Murray, eulogist.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, 410 NW Market Street, Reidsville, NC.

Hubert was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on September 17, 1966 to the late John Murphy and Kay Henderson Murphy.

He was educated in the Caswell County Schools System and was currently employed at Global Textiles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Murphy and Alfonza Murphy.

Survivors include wife, Stacey Herbin Murphy; sons, Dominique Lee Murphy and Keshawn Lamont Murphy; daughters, K-Tia Qwonnyel Coles, K-Tisha Jenae Coles and Brittany Sierra Herbin; brothers, Ardie Murphy (Audrey) ad Andrew Murphy (Evon); sisters, Donna Pinchback (Antonio), Virginia Herbin (Ricky) and Tarsha Jackson (Annthony); grandchildren, Cameron Martin, Caleb Martin, Di'Nayshia Keene, Ashton Luke, Jr., Tristen Luke, Ka'Miyah Coles and Ka'Meyah; a host of relatives and friends.
