REIDSVILLE - Mr. Herman Randolph Farrish, age 86, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at UNC Health Rockingham, Eden, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 Hubbard Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 1:30 p.m. Dr. Joseph A. Bryant will preside and Reverend Tommy Williamson, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in family plot of Greenview Cemetery.

He was born on December 31, 1937 in Rockingham County, NC to the late James Taft Farrish and the late Irmilla Brown Farrish.

Spiritually, Mr. Herman was a faithful member of First Baptist Church until his health declined.

Mr. Herman was a quiet, mild mannered gentle soul. He loved the Atlanta Braves Baseball Team as well as the Carolina Panthers Football Team.

For many years he worked at Lorillard Tobacco Company in Greensboro, NC and was a self-proclaimed carpenter.

He was married to the late Addie McCain Farrish for 54 years.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Robert Farrish and sister, Wannett F. Lipscomb.

Survivors include daughter, Tonya Nazor; special daughter, Tania L. Farrish; brother, Alex J. Farrish; sisters, Elizabeth F. Johnson and Cecelia McClure; grandson, Xavier Visco; a host of relatives and friends.
