Henry Wydell Cobb was born on September 30, 1961 to Mr. Peter and Viola Slade Cobb. He was called home on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at West End Baptist Church with a visitation 12:30-1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Greenview Cemetery.

Henry attended and graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in Reidsville, North Carolina. During his life, Henry held several jobs in the public segment with IEM Plastics, Boren Brick, and GBM Services at Proctor and Gamble. He was a long time member of West End Baptist Church where he used one of his many talents by singing in the male chorus and being in the company of members and friends at the church. In addition, he would attend bible study at The Minister House of God where he was inspired to gain more knowledge and understanding of God's Word.

Wydell to some and "Meatloaf" to others was well known for his passion of collecting and racing gas-powered cars. Also, he was devoted to fixing and repairing lawn mowers for family, friends, and neighbors.

Those left to cherish his memory include: wife, Antoinette Harris Cobb; son, Henry Wydell Cobb Jr.; step-children, LaTosha Harris, Donovan Harris, and Brittany Harris; grandson, Keyonte Dotson; step-granddaughter, Harmoni Harris; parents, Peter and Viola Slade Cobb; brothers, Lee Cobb (Sarah), Charles Cobb, Lorenzo Cobb (Gina), and James Cobb (Marie); sisters, Faye Bailey (Paul), Myra Blackwell (Dale), and Sandra Cobb; brother-in-laws, John Willie Scales, Odell Scales, Timmy Harris, Antonio Harris, Wayne Harris (Elizabeth), George Harris, and Jimmy Harris; sister-in-laws, Nancy Courts, Tammy Harris, and Avon Harris; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many treasured friends.
