On Monday morning, October 7, 2013, God called Mrs. Hattie Broadnax to rest after being sick for many years.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Sunny Home Baptist Church, Eden, NC with a visitation 1:30-2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Progressive Primitive Baptist Church.

Hattie was born to the late Pete Staples and Hattie Hampton Staples in Guilford County.

She worked for Macfield Inc.for approximately 15 years, until her health declined. Hattie was a member of Sunny Home Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grand mother.

She was preceded in death by husband; Timothy Broadnax, daughter; Ruby Ann Broadnax and son, Timothy Broadnax Jr.

Hattie leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters; Wynona Breedlove(Lawrence), Christine Richardson(Glenn), 5 sons; Ronnie Lee Broadnax(Amanda Doss), Lonnie Braodnax,Bobby Lee Broadnax(Joyce Blackwell) Frankie Broadnax and Harry Lee Broadnax(Joelevon Lawal) all of Reidsville, NC, 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren,6 great great grandchildren, 1 brother; William Staples(Alma), Eden, NC and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Family will recieve frineds at 1037 Harrison Crossroad Loop, Reidsville, NC.
