Mr. George Thomas Pass was born to the late George Willie Pass and Carrie Huff Pass on May 9, 1947 in Guilford County. He was the second of nine children. He passed away Monday, December 23, 2013.

George was a graduate of the 1966 Class of Booker T. Washington High School. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1967. Upon his return from Vietnam, he met and married the love of his life, Erva Lee Graves on June 26, 1969. He was employed with American Tobacco Company and also Lorillord Inc., where he retired from both.

George was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church where he was Chairman of the Trustees, lead Teller and a great supporter of Home of Refuge Outreach, INC, Eden, NC, which provided for the homeless and elderly.

Along with his parents, preceding him in death is one sister; Mary Oglesby.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Wife; Erva G. Pass, daughters; Ranee, Vanessa, Setedra (DeAndre), Danielle, sons; Billy, Joey, Marcus, Rally, Chris(Crystal), Matthew, sisters; Rosie Lee, Barbara Morehead, Constance Scales, Denise Simpson(Tim), Roberta Murphy, brothers; Wilford Pass(Brenda), Willie Pass(Geraldine), Earl Ray Pass, Kenny Pass(Jancie), a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends; Tim Simpson and Lawrence Burns, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 30,2013, 2:oo p.m. at Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1: 30 p.m. - 2:oo p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery.
