George Douglas Galloway of Reidsville, NC passed away the evening of July 13, 2012.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. at Grooms Baptist Church with Evangelist Juanita Edwards serving as Eulogist and burial following in Greenview Cemetery. There will be a visitation one half hour prior to the service.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years; Barbara J. Galloway, brothers; John Clarence Galloway and Elijah M. Galloway Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: six children; Edward Clark(Saundra), Amina White(Darryl), Phillip Galloway, Reidsville, NC, Barbara Stacey, Greensboro, NC, Chris Galloway, Hickory, NC, Sylvia Alsabahi, Philadelphia, PA, ten grandchildren; Tyra Rheaume(Jimmy), Tinika Clark, Jameel Clark, Sherry Jefferies, Tasha Logan, Trent Galloway, Denard Stacey "Bud", Sylvia Clark, Elijah White "Big Boy", Taylor White "Tay", three step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five brothers; Rev. Franklin Galloway(Martha), Detroit Michigan, William Galloway, David Galloway, Otis Galloway(Betty), James Dickerson(Yvonne), all of Reidsville, NC, two sisters; Mary Alice Cannon(Levi), Rosetta Carter(Lorenzo), all of Reidsville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
