Mr. Freddie "Buck" Hatfield passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at White Oak Manor, Burlington, NC.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at McLaurin Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with burial in the Greenview Cemetery.

Freddie was born May 4, 1956 in Caswell County, the son of the late Monroe and Sylvia Lawson Hatfield.
Affectionately known as "Buck", he enjoyed building model cars and fixing up his own car. Buck had a warm loving smile that caught everyone's attention.


Freddie was preceded in death by his baby brother; Ricky Hatfield.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 16 years; Bernice Herbin, three sons; Montel J. Hatfield of the home, Fredrick Hatfield (Misha), Reidsville, NC, Brian Hatfield, Burlington, NC, two step-daughters; LaSherrie Richardson, Greensboro, NC, Ashley Herbin of the home, three sisters; Kessie M. Crisp, Naomi Richmond (Coy), both of Burlington, NC, Leona Dove (Daniel), Graham, NC, one brother; James Hatfield (Margaret), Gibsonville, NC, grandchildren; Janaya Hatfield, Kyli Hatfield, Maliyah Lewis, Braylen Johnson, Brooklyn Hatfield, Damaryon Hatfield, mother-in-law; Alice Mae Herbin, two sisters in-law, Bessie Harden (Wesley), Mary Hatfield, one brother-in-law; Roy Herbin (Anna) and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
