Mr. Frankie Broadnax of Reidsville, NC died September 19, 2016 at Jacobs Creek Nursing Home, Madison, NC. He was a native of Rockingham County, born November 25, 1959 to the late Hattie and Timothy N. Broadnax.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2016 at McLaurin Memorial Chapel, Reidsville, NC, with a visitation 12:30- 1:00 P.M. prior to the service and burial to take place in Chapel Hill Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, Rufin, NC.
Frankie was a 1978 graduate of Rockingham County Schools and employed at Macfield now Unifi before a car accident leaving him disabled for the rest of his life.
He attended the Church of Christ Ministry held at Avante Nursing Home of where he was a longtime resident. Frankie was a loving, selfless person who never complained. If he was ever in need of something, he wouldn't say a word, unless it got too much to bear. He touched many people's hearts by the way he endured his plight with a smile on his face. He would often quote a scripture his mother taught him…Seek yea first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. He was called the Team Leader at Avante Nursing Home because of the way he encouraged others to live with in capabilities. He will truly be missed by family and friends.
Along with his parent's he was also preceded in death by brother; Timothy Jr. and sister; Ruby Ann Broadnax.
Frankie leaves to cherish his memories, sisters; Christine Richardson (Glenn), Wynona Breedlove (Lawrence), brothers; Ronnie Lee Broadnax, Lonnie Junior Broadnax, Bobby Lee Broadnax and Harry Lee Broadnax, a loving nephew; Winfield Broadnax (Brenda), a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
