EDEN, NC - Mrs. Frances Morgan, age 72, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A viewing will be held privately on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, MD.

Frances Morrell Morgan had a gift for making people feel beautiful. Whether she was crowning the women of her church to honor their faithful service, selecting the perfect thoughtful gift, or tending the flowers in her garden, she had a way of seeing what was lovely in the world and bringing it into the light.

Born December 16, 1953, in Montgomery, Maryland, Frances passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, North Carolina, surrounded by family. Throughout her illness, she was lovingly cared for by her brother and mother, and she faced every challenge with faith, love, and joy in her heart.

Frances was a woman who believed in learning—she earned her Associate's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Phoenix and rose to Vice President for Finance at Wells Fargo, a career that took her as far as Guam. But what she loved most was closer to home: family history and photo albums, Sunday mornings at church, opera music, watching golf, and the simple pleasure of time spent with the people she loved.

She leaves behind her mother, Lucy Mae Timpson of Pensacola, Florida; her brother, William "Tim" Timpson of Eden, NC; nephews Demond McCaskill, William Brandon Timpson, and Jason Timpson; and a host of great-nieces and a great-great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda McCaskill, and her beloved "Daddy George" Timpson.
