EDEN, NC - Mrs. Frances Ruth Glenn Adams, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:07 PM, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, NC, following a lengthy illness.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 1 until 5 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8, 2026 at 1 p.m. from the Piney Fork Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 395 Riverside Circle, Eden, NC. Elder Marvin Nimmons will serve as eulogist.

Frances was born on October 02, 1944, in Reidsville, North Carolina. Frances was the daughter of Margaret Geneva Glenn.

Frances was educated in the Rockingham County School System. While attending Booker T. Washington High School, Frances met and married Saunder Lee Adams. Frances and Saunders were married for 64 years, and from their union, five children were born.

Frances was a dedicated employee of Karastan Rug Mill for 47 years, working in various positions, before illness made it impossible for her to continue working. Frances enjoyed going to church. She was a faithful member of the Piney Fork PP Baptist Church. Frances was known to many and loved by all; she never met a stranger.

Frances was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Geneva Glenn; aunt, Lucelle Glenn; cousin, John Conwell.

Frances leaves to cherish her memory: husband of 64 years, Saunder L. Adams; children, Sharon Adams, Saundra Adams, Rodney Adams (Lisa), Rhonda Adams, and Warren Adams (Maria); grandchildren: Alexandria, Algernon(LaTisha), Leslie, Whenton(Shay), Cynthia, Jasmine(Benjamine), Quanda, LaMare, Terrance, Zoe; twenty-seven great grandchildren, brother: Billy Glenn and sister: Betty Jean Slade; other relatives, and friends.
