REIDSVILLE, NC - Ms. Faith Shalita Mitchell, age 35, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Public viewing will begin on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 from the Jerusalem United Holy Church, 633 Prince-Williams Street, Reidsville, NC. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the service at 2 p.m. Prophetess Shirley Carter will officiate and Dr. Joel Clark, eulogist.
The committal and interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.
The family will receive friends at the home of her grandparents, Reverend John & Ruby Reynolds (908 Hilltop Blvd., Reidsville, NC). Please be courteous to the family by limiting your time at the residence.
Faith Shalita Mitchell, 35, was born December 4,1990 and entered eternal rest on January 29, 2026, in Guilford County.
Faith will be remembered for her gentle spirit, loving heart and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness, strength and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Antoine Mitchell and her grandfather, Roland L. Lambert (Papa).
She leaves to cherish her loving memory; her mother, Thomasa R. Lambert; brother, Antoine Mitchell; grandparents, Ruby A. Reynolds and Rev. John Reynolds; devoted and loving partner, Umekia Graves; her bonus parent, Andrea (Deya) Johnson; aunties, Donna L. Keesee, Sandy R. Pickard, Linda F. Lynn and Carol Johnson; uncles, Leonard Williams and Keith Mitchell; her beloved dog, (Keli), who was a constant source of companionship and comfort, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Though her time on earth was brief, Faith's legacy of love will live on forever.
