Mrs. Evelyn Patricia Maynard Smith, age 75, passed away Saturday October 28, 2023.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Amigone Funeral Home, 1132 Deleware Avenue, Buffalo, NY.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God, Inc. Cemetery, 600 McWalker Road, Reidsville, NC. Information will be forthcoming.

Evelyn was born July 25, 1948 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Willie Mae and Floyd McKinley Maynard. She received a formal education and graduated from Buffalo and Lackawanna Schools System.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Mae and Floyd Maynard, Sr.; covenant brother, Frank Blakley Jr.; son, Corey S. Smith, Sr.; grandson, Daven Shabrille Smith.

Trisha had a great love for the Lord, her church, Mt. Sinai God's House and her family. She will be remembered for her caring heart and her wonderful chicken wings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Monica Joy Smith; son, Thomas G. Smith; daughter-in-law, Kamilya Smith; grandchildren, Trey McNeil, Corey Smith, Jr., Jaden Smith, Ainsley Henery, Asia Henery and Tyler Smith; great-grandchildren, Aiden C. Henery, Aubree C. Henery and Corryn Smith; sisters, Carolyn Maynard and Lillie Mae Washington; covenant sisters, Dallas Buttrom and Viola Blakely; sister-in-law, Gwen Maynard; Nichelle Gayle (Charles), Fonda Tubbins (Elijah) and Tomica Brewer; nephews, Howard F. Maynard, Jr., Rapheal Washington (Danette), Floyd Maynard, III, and Clayton Maynard (Morgan); a host of other relatives and friends.
