REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Evelyn Beatrice Galloway Best, age 92, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Linden Place Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greensboro, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 1 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., Elder Larry Carter, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery.

Beatrice as she was affectionately called was born on March 18, 1932 to Evelyn Johnson and Floyd Galloway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robinette Watlington; spouses, William Watlington and Nelson Best; brothers Floyd Galloway, Jr., Charles Galloway, and Robert Galloway; sister Ruby Galloway.

Survivors include children, William Odell Watlington, Jr., Calvin Lee Watlington, David Eugene Watlington, Ursula Lavita Watlington and Bronson Denise Watlington; sisters, Essie Mae Lowe and Queenie E. Carter; a host of relatives and friends.
